Are Unhealthy Spiritual Habits Robbing You Of Your Joy?

by | Jul 6, 2021

Life is so busy that we often forget to pay attention to the feedback we continually receive from those around us. By doing this, we are developing unhealthy habits that allow our spirit to be robbed of joy.

If we aren’t paying attention to what the “joy robbers” are in our lives, we aren’t depositing into our Spirit. This is what leaves us feeling worn out and exhausted.

Here are just a few examples of some of the biggest unhealthy spiritual habits (AKA – Joy Robbers) we experience in our daily lives:

  • Allowing ourselves to listen to the negative talk around us
  • Micromanaging our teams (both the one at the office and the one at home)
  • Getting so mired down in logistics that we don’t delegate appropriately
  • Worrying so much about protecting others that we sacrifice ourselves

When we do any of these things, we can’t own our power. And if we can’t own our power, then we can’t use the very leadership skills that we were hired for in the first place.

This week, I challenge you to pick one unhealthy spiritual habit to drop. Think about how you will do it and how much you will be able to deposit back into your spirit once that habit is gone.

I’d love to hear what you are choosing to let go of. Send me an email ([email protected]) and let me know which unhealthy spiritual habit you want to drop.

BE more kind to yourself.
BE more compassionate.
Be more forgiving.
Be more loving.

Remember, you are a Powerhouse.

Wishing you a powerful week.
