So You’ve Got Your Head In The Game: Now What?

by | Jan 5, 2022

Here we are, in Week 2 of Create & Live A Life You Love. Last week, we talked about your Mentally Fit Room and the importance of your mindset for getting your head in the game for creating the life that you want.

The next thing you need to look at is what you can do emotionally. Close your eyes and imagine yourself walking into your Emotionally Fit Room, based on my book, “The Powerhouse In You.”

The questions you need to ask yourself here are:

What do I need to let go of in order to lean into that happy-dance feeling I will have when I achieve all of the wonderful goals I put on my list from last week?

What is standing in my way of connecting with myself?

What is preventing me from connecting with others?

Is it:

  • Your lack of confidence?
  • Inferiority or superiority complex?
  • Feelings of self-doubt?
  • Fear of success or fear of failure?

Being a mindful leader or person means giving yourself permission to feel what you need to feel then you can release it. Holding off only ends badly; like anger, hurt or brewing resentments can appear often disconnecting you from yourself and others. Lean in to your feelings. It will be okay. Connect with safe people in your life that will pay witness to your pain/worry/confusion. You deserve support.

What do you need to let go of to experience the confidence and the courage (Yes, you ARE courageous, you’ve just forgotten)?

Now that you’ve mentally got your head in the game and are pumped about tracking your positive affirmations from last week and how you are going to make them happen, you need to look at the emotional part. How are you going to FEEL when you start achieving all of these amazing goals? Ecstatic/joyful/happy/free?

I’d love to hear what you intend to feel when you achieve the goals and the activities that you’ve chosen to create for yourself in 2022. Excitement & joy are contagious.

BE more kind to yourself.
BE more compassionate.
Be more forgiving.
Be more loving.

Remember, you are a Powerhouse.

Wishing you a powerful week.
