Here we are in the fourth week of Create And Live A Life You Love. Now you’ve entered into your Spiritually Fit Room and there is a reason why we save this room for last. Your spirit is your foundation. It is the core of who you are and the purpose of why you are here. It is important that you let go of things that aren’t serving you well so you can lean into being the best version of yourself.
Part of that is asking yourself what activity you are involved in that is really not serving your spirit well and just weighing you down. This is where healthy boundaries are so important. In order for you to create the life that you want and deserve, you need to say no to certain things so that you can say yes to yourself. You need to do this so you’ve got the energy to:
- make the connections
- to support someone else
- to receive the support
- access that mentor
Only then can you lean into the Joy Factor, into those activities and those Possibility Thinking items you wrote down in Week 1. And that right there is what is going to be a game-changer for you.
My invitation for you, as a leader, is for you to do two things at your next team meeting:
Say to people “If there is one thing that you would love to do in 2022 what might it be and what can we do to support you?”
It’s unbelievable when collectively, we can cheer each other on, have each other’s backs. Don’t you find that when you hear someone’s success story it makes you want to actually do something yourself and take action? It’s the same thing. It’s contagious. It’s contagious when people share their success stories.
Encourage people to share their success stories
This could be anything from weight loss to achieving a goal or completing a course or doing something to improve themselves. Not only will this allow you to make meaningful connections with your team, but it will also inspire others to take action so they can have a success story to share.
And please, don’t be afraid to share your own goals and successes. You never know what action you might inspire a team member to take.
Remember, you are a POWERHOUSE.
