So far we’ve taken time to stop and listen to what our Mentally Fit Room, our Emotionally Fit Room, and our Physically Fit Room are trying to tell us. Today, we are going to pause so we can listen to what our Spiritually Fit Room has to say.
As you enter your Spiritually Fit Room, stop and pay attention. Is it trying to tell you:
- That you’ve lost your joy?
- That you are feeling all zapped out?
- That you are trying too hard to be a “Human Doer”?
Sometimes it is easier to chalk those feelings up to not being good enough than it is to show ourselves compassion. It is easier to feel wrong about cutting ourselves some slack than it is to lean into those thoughts and feelings and allow ourselves to rest.
That burnt-out feeling is a strong sign that you need to refill your Spiritual Cup, that you need to find your joy. So today I invite you to take that 10-second pause that I am always talking about and pay attention to what your Spiritually Fit Room is trying to tell you. Not only will it let you know that it is time to refill your Cup, but it will also help you figure out HOW to refill it. Maybe you need to:
- Go out and play like a child, freely and without agenda
- Do something spontaneous
- Be of service to someone (and that can include YOURSELF)
So again, I invite you to take your 10-second pause and really listen to what your Spiritually Fit Room is trying to tell you. If it is feeling exhausted pay attention to that. Ask yourself what will fill your spirit up? Think about what’s that one activity that will be the biggest game-changer and help you to feel the most recharged? And then GO DO IT!
BE more compassionate.
Be more forgiving.
Be more loving.
Wishing you a powerful week.
